Exceptional Practices
Our Exceptional Practices Course explores the many aspects of early years that can contribute to, and demonstrate, exceptional practice in an inspection. It explains the importance of professional dialogue and collaboration between leaders and inspectors. Our course provides information on the toolkit, evaluation areas and report cards and helps you to prepare, reflect and evaluate your setting, as you work towards an exceptional.

The Training
On completing the course, learners should understand:
- steps to take in preparing for inspection
- the evidence an inspector will gather
- what inspectors are looking for
- aspects of provision that can contribute to an ‘exceptional’ grade
Final Test
This course has been accredited by the CPD Certification Service as conforming to the universally accepted Continuous Professional Development Guidelines. On successful completion, you can download or print your certificates from the learner management system.
Duration
It takes approximately 1 hour to complete the entire course.
This course is certificated on its completion. The length of time you take is entirely dependent on how quickly you can study and absorb the information. Remember, it’s important to learn the content and not to rush through the course. Please do take notes during these courses.
