The course looks at various techniques that can be applied in order to promote positive behaviour, identify the reasons behind negative behaviour and how you can use your own positive techniques and resources available to encourage children to change their actions, if necessary

The Training
On completing the course, learners should understand:
- The EYFS and the Prime and Specific Areas of Learning and Development
- How behaviour may appear in young children
- Development statements/grids
- The need for posititve approaches
- How to build positive relationships with children; effective communication
- Strategies to manage difficult behaviour
- Possible use of incentives and rewards to effectively motivate a positive change in behaviour
Final Test
This course has been accredited by the CPD Certification Service as conforming to the universally accepted Continuous Professional Development Guidelines. On successful completion, you can download and print your certificates from the learner management system.
