Our bitesize course, The Great Outdoors, explores a range of exciting, practical activities for children and provides fun opportunities for the early years practitioner to experience the joy of the outdoor classroom in their professional development, thereby promoting an understanding of the learning potential outside activities offer to young children.

The Training
On completing the course, learners should understand:- understand the importance and thrill of outdoor experiences in the early years
- be able to think laterally about the many exciting outdoor activities for children
- be able to connect outdoor resources to the seven areas of learning and development
- have enjoyed a number of practical challenges, applying their imagination and creativity
Final Test
Once you have completed the online training, you will be able to take the final test.
- There are 5 questions.
- The pass rate is 80%.
- You can take the test as many times as you need.
Duration
It takes approximately 20 minutes to complete the entire course.
This course is certificated on its completion. The length of time you take is entirely dependent on how quickly you can study and absorb the information. Remember, it’s important to learn the content and not to rush through the course. Please do take notes during these courses.
Certification
This course is certified by the CPD Certification Service as conforming to the universally accepted Continuous Professional Development Guidelines. On successful completion, you can download and print your certificate from the learner management system.
