The Training
By the end of this course, learners should understand:
- the definitions of physical intervention and physical restraint in early years
- how to manage physical restraint; the role of the practitioner
- the importance of policies and procedures
- corporal punishment is prohibited
- any physical contact should be at a minimum
Final Test
This course has been accredited by the CPD Certification Service as conforming to the universally accepted Continuous Professional Development Guidelines. On successful completion, you can download or print your certificates from the learner management system.
Duration
The entire course and test should take approximately 25 minutes. This course is certified on completion.
