Children’s Mental Health
Our Children’s Mental Health Course provides important definitions and an examination of the factors which can affect a child’s mental health. It looks at the risk factors, inequalities in early years and how a child’s well-being can be promoted. It explores the roles of the early years practitioner and the Health Visitor, along with the benefits of promoting mindfulness and resilience.

The Training
On completing the course, learners should understand:
- characteristics of good mental health
- mental health problems and disorders
- risk factors and inequalities in early years
- how mental health might be improved and the role of the professionals
- mindfulness in young children
Final Test
Once you have completed the online training, you will be able to take the final test.
- There are 10 questions.
- The pass rate is 80%.
- You can take the test as many times as you need.
Duration
It takes approximately 45 minutes to complete the entire course.
This course is certificated on its completion. The length of time you take is entirely dependent on how quickly you can study and absorb the information. Remember, it’s important to learn the content and not to rush through the course. Please do take notes during these courses.
Certification
This course is certified by the CPD Certification Service as conforming to the universally accepted Continuous Professional Development Guidelines.
